Muriel Adler, Coalition President
An active Coalition member for over fifteen years, Muriel was elected president in 2009.
She has served as a Member of the Coalition Board of Directors, and is a charter member of the Coalition Convention Planning Committee.
A graduate of Adelphi University, where she received a BA and a MA, Muriel has been employed in proprietary education since 1979.
Ms. Adler has been a Director in allied health, drafting, court reporting and business schools.
She has been the Director of The Institute of Audio Research since 1999.
Terence Zaleski, Executive Director & Counsel
Executive Director of the Coalition since 1996, Mr. Zaleski (“Terry”) provides direct services to Coalition members.
He is a resource to assist with questions and problems, and coordinates all activities of the Coalition.
An attorney and registered lobbyist, he represents Coalition members on matters in Albany, Washington, and elsewhere in New York State.
A graduate of Columbia Law School, Teachers College, and Columbia College, Terence is well-respected as a leader and spokesperson for career schools throughout New York State.
His skills working with lawmakers and government agencies were shaped as an elected mayor and Member of the NYS Assembly.
