Mystery Shopping

Our Coalition is continuing our successful Mystery Shopping Program, but we need updated approvals and information in our files from every school.

THERE IS NO CHARGE TO YOUR SCHOOL FOR PARTICIPATING IN THIS PROGRAM. IT IS A BENEFIT OF MEMBERSHIP.

Personnel changes, directors and owners change, and so it is essential that this be done.

Please download, complete and return the Mystery Shopping Form available here.

I need a copy of an actual signature on the form, so I would request that you either FAX the completed form to me at 845-788-5071 or scan a signed, completed form and e-mail the scanned form to me at tzaleski@sprynet.com.

For your information, I have included below the outline for how the program works, if you have not been involved previously. Any questions, please contact Terry Zaleski at 845-788-5070.

SERVICE TO COALITION MEMBERS

MYSTERY SHOPPING TO MAINTAIN STANDARDS

The Coalition continues its mystery shopping program using the services of Hart Investigations, Inc. They have done a great job for us over the last three years.

How does it work? This is a simple program that can have huge benefits for you and your school. Mystery shopping sends someone that would seem to be a prospective student to your school to meet with admission reps, collect forms, ask questions, and hear what your school admissions personnel promise and say. The mystery shoppers are specially trained to spot problems in the admissions and financial aid process . The “shopper” will then prepare a report that highlights strengths and weaknesses.

As part of this process, member schools sign a special retainer agreement with Coalition attorney, Terence Zaleski, authorizing him to review the report findings and discuss them with school personnel so as to promote compliance with all laws, rules and regulations. All findings will be kept strictly confidential as attorney-client work product. The Coalition wants to protect its members and help them by providing safeguards in the admissions and financial aid process. None of the results of the findings will be shared with any other school owner, director, or member of the Coalition Board of Directors.
